Current areas of research interests:

  1. Application of molecular biology techniques to improve the rapid detection of poultry diseases?
  2. Epidemiology, diagnosis, and control of Infectious laryngotracheitis virus (ILTV)?
  3. Identification and characterization of ILTV proteins involve in viral pathogenicity, spread, and persistence ?
  4. Development of new serological assays for the rapid detection of avian influenza infected flocks
  5. Determine survivability of avian influenza and Infectious laryngotracheitis virus in poultry litter and chicken house environment.
